AIOU Fee Concession For Flood Effected Area’s Students

AIOU Fee Concession: The recent flood has changed the entire phenomenon of Pakistan’s history. It has brought great destructions. Hundred of thousands of homes collapsed. More than 400 children and above 1200 people lost their precious lives. Sindh and Balochistan provinces are the most affected areas. If we say that Pakistan is facing a great humanitarian crisis in its history, It may not be wrong.

Everyone is contributing to help the needy to overcome this humanitarian crisis. Allama Iqbal Open University has also decided to provide relief to the students belonging to flood-affected areas of Pakistan. The Vice-Chancellor of AIOU has been pleased to approve the following decisions in this regard to facilitate the SSC & HSSC students in the fee matters.

Full fee concession is being given to the students of Matric and Inter Autunm Semester 2022 for flood-affected areas i.e., the whole of the Sindh Province (except Karachi), the whole of the Baluchistan, D.I. Khan and D. G. Khan Regions (Continue Students only).The students of Matric & Inter (belonging to the above areas) who have already deposited the fee for the Autumn-2022 semester, their fee will be adjusted in the next semester.

میٹرک اور انٹر سمسٹر خزان 2022 کے صرف جاری طلباء کو سیلاب سے متاثرہ علاقوں یعنی پورے صوبہ سندھ (سوائے کراچی)، پورے بلوچستان کے لیے مکمل فیس میں رعایت دی جا رہی ہے۔اس کے علاوہ ڈی آئی جی خان اور ڈیرہ غازی خان ریجنزکے جاری طلباء کو بھی مکمل فیس میں رعایت دی گئی ہے۔میٹرک اور انٹرکے سٹوڈنٹس جو پہلے ہی فیس جمع کروا چکے ہیں ان کی فیس اگلے سمسٹر میں ایڈجسٹ کر دی جائے گی۔

ایسوسی ایٹ ڈگری سمسٹر خزان 2022 کے صرف جاری طلباء کو سیلاب سے متاثرہ علاقوں یعنی پورے صوبہ سندھ (سوائے کراچی)، پورے بلوچستان کے لیے پچاس فیصد فیس میں رعایت دی جا رہی ہے۔اس کے علاوہ ڈی آئی جی خان اور ڈیرہ غازی خان ریجنزکے جاری طلباء کو بھی پچاس فیصد فیس میں رعایت دی گئی ہے۔

The fee concession/waiver may be dealt in accordance with already prevailing policy of Student Assistance Schemes through Director Student Affairs and executed through regions.

Director Students Affairs, Director Admissions and Treasurer shall implement the approval of the competent authority accordingly.
