Clarification regarding AIOU MA admission 2022

AIOU MA Admission 2022: Allama Iqbal Open Univesity had announced Autumn Semester 2022 admission 2022 in different BS, BBA, Associate Degree, Post Graduate Diplomas, short courses and Teachers Training programs for fresh and continuing students in the last week of August 2022. Fresh students can submit the admission form without late fee till 6th October 2022 whereas continuing students can submit the autumn semester admission 2022 till 18th October 2022 without late fee charges.

AIOU has not announced admission in MA/MSc programs in the autumn semester 2022 due to the instructions by the Higher Education Commission Of Pakistan because HEC has banned all master-level programs from the 30th of June 2022 in all public and private universities across the country. But HEC has given the opportunity to the students of BA/BSc & Associate degree or equivalent can continue their studies by taking admission in the 5th Semester of BS or relevant degree programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.

A fake advertisement is circulating on social media that AIOU is offering MA/MSc programs in the autumn semester 2022 which is totally fake and fabricated. AIOU has clarified on its Twitter account that this advertisement is baseless and based on lies, it should be noted that Allama Iqbal Open University has closed MA and MSc programs as per the policy and instructions of the Higher Education Commission from Semester Autumn 2022. Second phase admissions are going on in which MA/MSc Programs are not offered.
