All women belonging to the lower-middle class are well aware of the Benazir Income Support Program. This program was launched in 2008 by the Pakistan Peoples Party government. The main purpose to start this program is to provide financial assistance to the poorest and downtrodden sections of society through cash transfers to eligible households.
