In this article, you will find the information regarding the notification about the Hafta-e-Shan-e-Rasool(ﷺ) in Punjab province”۔ As you know that Rabi Ul Awal moon was not sighted yesterday The holy month of Rabi Ul Awal will be started from 28th September 2022 and 12th Rabi Ul Awal will be on 9th October 2022 (Sunday).
The government of Punjab along with the School Education Department Punjab has decided to observe Hafta-e-Shan-e-Rasool during the month of October 2022 and different events shall be held in a befitting manner with great fervor and zeal throughout the province at all levels. In this regard, a notification has been issued by the SED Punjab on 26th September 2022.
All the Chief Executive Officers (DAEs) in Punjab are directed to organize events i.e. Qirat, Naat, Speech, Essay writing competitions etc in schools through active participation from students and teachers at Tehsil, District, Division and Provincial level and prizes will be distributed among winners as per previous practice. Moreover, public figures shall be invited as Chief guest to grace the occasion.
It is further requested to all CEOs to make necessary arrangements/preparations in this regard and necessary instructions may be issued to all heads of schools (public/private) for observance of Hafta-e-Shan-e-Rasool. A plan/schedule containing name of chief guest, venue etc for conduct of activities during the said week in the district, may be prepared/finalized and may be furnished to this office within 02 days positively, for information of the Authority.
