Join Pakistan Army Through PMA Long Course 153

The Pakistan Military Academy has announced the registration schedule for the PMA Long Course 153 for the male citizens of Pakistan and the domicile holders of Azad Jammu and Kashmir/Gilgit Baltistan. Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can submit online applications from 9th October 2023 to 17th November 2023. You can also reach this advertisement on Pak Army’s official website https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/. The online registration process will start from tomorrow (9th October 2023). After completing the online application, you will go through the Premilinary Test which will be held from 22 November 2023 to 19th January 2023. 

The selected candidates will get 2 years training at Pakistan Military Academy and there every candidate shall undergo a different learning process i.e. the use of the latest war tactics, how to fight, War survival and Weapon assembling etc.

Eligibility Criteria

To be a part of PMA Long Course 153, you need to meet certain eligibility criteria. Let’s see the key requirements:

1. Gender: only male with a minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)

2. Martial Status: Only unmarried Pakistanis civilian. If you are already in the Pakistan army, PMA Long Course 153 requires married serving personnel of the Armed Forces over 20 years of age.

3. Nationality: You must be a citizen of Pakistan and a domicile holder of AJK/GB.

5. Age Limit: The age limit for this course ranges from 17 to 22 years on 1st May 2024

6. Education: A minimum qualification of Intermediate (F.A/F.Sc) or equivalent with a minimum 55% marks is required. The candidates who got 60% marks or above in BA/BSc or BA/BSc(Hons) and BBA/BPA with 50% marks in FA/FSc are eligible for PMA Long Course 153. If you are serving the Pakistan Army as a soldier, the required qualification is FA/FSc or equivalent with 50% marks.

7. Medical Standards: A candidate should be physically and mentally fit as per medical standards set by the Pakistan Army. Now look at the below chart for a short overview.

How To Apply For PMA Long Course 153?

To apply for PMA Long Course 153 online and get further information, visit the official website of the Pakistan Army https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/. If you are not interested in applying online, you must visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS& RCs) which are mentioned in the advertisement.

If you visit the nearest AS&RCs, you must submit the following documents for the allotment of roll number slips

  • Original document/certificate/DMC of Matric/Intermediate(FA/FSc) or equivalent
  • CNIC and if you are less than 18 years old, you must submit the B-Form with Father and Mother CNIC
  • One set of attested photocopies of all the above-mentioned documents.
  • 3 passport-size pictures (attested from front & back)
