Postponement Matric 2nd Annual Exams 2025 of all Punjab Boards

Two weeks ago, on August 25, 2025, we shared the 2nd annual exams date sheet 2025 for all Punjab boards. But now the 2nd annual exams (supplementary) 2025 have been postponed due to the prevailing flood situation across Punjab. This decision was taken during the emergency meeting of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons (PBCC) held on 4th September 2025. The Postponement Matric 2nd Annual Exams 2025 is now confirmed, as the PBCC has issued a notification.

This decision has been taken unanimously by the PBCC to facilitate students and ensure that the academic calendar remains manageable despite the natural calamity. Now the matric 2nd annual exams 2025 will start from September 29, 2025. The new date sheet will be issued very soon. As new date sheet issues, we will share it in this post. Key Decisions Regarding Postponement Matric 2nd Annual Exams 2025

The official notification highlights the following key points:

1. Rescheduled Exam Date:
   The Matric 2nd Annual Examination 2025 will now start from 29th September 2025 instead of the earlier scheduled date. This applies to all boards across Punjab.

2. Inclusion of Saturdays:
   To adjust the academic calendar, exams will now include Saturdays, which were previously excluded from the date sheet. This step has been taken to accommodate the new timeline effectively.

3. Redesigning Date Sheets:
   All Controllers of Examinations have been directed to redesign the date sheets. This aims to reduce the time gap between SSC (Matric) and HSSC (Intermediate) 2nd Annual Examinations 2025 and to minimize the overall impact of postponement on the academic calendar.

4. Timely Result Declaration:
   Controllers of Examinations will ensure that the marking of answer scripts is completed within 20 to 25 days, allowing the timely declaration of results. This step is crucial for students planning further admissions.
