Education Activities in Flood Affected Areas

Education Activities in Flood Affected Areas have become one of the biggest challenges in Pakistan after the recent floods in Punjab. Schools in several districts have been severely damaged, and in some cases, stagnant water has made it unsafe for students to attend. To address this crisis, the School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, has issued official directions to ensure continuity of learning despite these hardships.
There have been rumours that SED Punjab may extend the summer vacations for Primary and Elementary schools, particularly in flood-affected areas. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, has issued official directions to all Deputy Commissioners and Chairmen of District Education Authorities by issuing an official notification on 29th August 2025.
