Breaking News- Promotion Of Teaching and Non Teaching Staff
The DPI(SE) has written a letter to all Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) in Punjab regarding the promotion of teaching and non teaching staff. In this letter, DPI showed great concerns about the slow process of promotion of teaching staff from PST to EST, EST to SST and promotion of non teaching staff (ministerial staff) from Class-IV to Junior Clerk under 20% in-service quota, Junior Clerk to Senior Clerk and Senior Clerk to Assistant.
According to DPI, the relevant authorities do not appear to be particularly interested in promoting teaching and non-teaching employees in their respective Districts.
In this regard, all CEOs are instructed to positively call a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) before April 29, 2023, and to request the appointment of a Departmental Representative (DR) to the School Education Department for the relevant subject by April 20, 2023, with notification to this Directorate.
The following information must be reached in DPI (SE) within 2 Hour positively. All information should be given separately. Slackens and slickness will not be tolerable and the formate is given below.
