Public And Private Schools And Colleges Will Be Closed Till Further Orders
School Education Department Punjab has issued a notification on April 25, 2021 In partial modification of this department’s notification of even no. dated 24th April, 2021, and pursuant to decisions of NCOC dated 23rd April, 2021 it is hereby notified that all educational activities/classes including 9th to 12th classes in all Public and Private Schools in following Districts where Covid-19 positivity ratio is more than 5% shall remain suspended with immediate effect till further unless the list of districts is modified otherwise:

- Bhakkar
- Chakwal
- Dera Ghazi Khan
- Faisalabad
- Gujranwala
- Hafiz Abad
- Jhang
- Kasur
- Khanewal
- Khushab
- Lahore
- Loadhran
- Mandi Bahaud Din
- Multan
- Okara
- Pak Pattan
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Rawalpindi
- Sahiwal
- Sargodha
- Sheikhupura
- Sialkot
- T.T Singh
All the concerned to ensure compliance in letter and spirit.
On the other hand, Government Of The Punjab Higher Education Department also issued a notification on the same day and issued the following directions to all the concerned for strict compliance.
All Public and Private Colleges in high positivity districts (i.e beyond 5%) of TT Singh, RY Khan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Khushab, Lodhran, Mandi Bahuddin, Pak Pattan, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Okara, Jhang, Khanewal, Kasur, Bahawalnagar, Chakwal & Bhakkar are hereby closed with immediate effect until further orders.
The Intermediate classes which were earlier allowed in the high positivity districts on staggered basis are also suspended with immediate effect till further orders.
Universities may continue academic activities as per notification issued by HEC Islamabad.
All concerned quarters shall ensure the compliance/observance of COVID-19 -SOPs issued by Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, from time to time, in letter and spirit.
