Scholarships Announced For Punjab Govt. Employees: Government Of Punjab, Planning & Development Department/Punjab Resource Management Programs Unit issued a letter dated on 13th February 2023 to all Administrative Secretaries of Govt. Of Punjab, all Divisional Commissioners in Punjab, all Heads of Attached Departments and all DCs in Punjab regarding “Scholarships for Local One/Two Year Master/M.Phil Program Under the Scheme Institutional Strengthing of P&D Board Of Capacity Building Of Public Sector Employees Spring Season 2023.”
The scheme titled “Institutional equip officers of the Government of Punjab with relevant professional knowledge, skills, and competencies” is run by the Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit (PRMPU). According to this plan, the officers will get funds or scholarships for local degree programs at regional colleges or institutions in pertinent disciplines.
Under the program, the availability of scholarships for the Spring Session of 2023 for admission into local one/two-year Master/M. Phil degree programs from HEC-approved local universities/institutions is announced. Under this program’s eligibility requirements, applicants must
(1)Hold a master’s degree or 16 years of education.
(2)Have at least five (05) years of work experience in BPS-16 and above.
(3)Should not be more than 50 years of age.
(4)Not be currently on deputation with a donor agency or international agency.
(5)Not be on long leave from the government (equal or more than one year).
(6)Give undertaking on stamp paper that he/she will serve the Government for at least three (03) year after getting his/her degree otherwise all the expenditures incurred on him/her for the course will be reimbursed to the Government exchequer.
(7)Not be involved in an inquiry or disciplinary action. (However, officers facing minor punishments, inquiry or disciplinary action may apply for scholarship under this scheme if otherwise qualified).
(8)Scrutiny of applications and selection of scholars will be through approved Committees and processes.
(9)Be in good mental and physical health.
It is pertinent to mention that this project is a good chance to train important human resources for the Provincial Government. It would be best to encourage your workers to take advantage of this chance. In this regard, PRMPU may receive nominations from qualified individuals no later than May 31, 2023. (Wednesday).

وہ سرکاری ملازم جن کا سکیل 16 سے کم ہے وہ اپلائی کرنے کے اہل نہیں ہیں۔
