Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas said today(Friday) that schools will be closed for summer vacation after taking exams in TWO WEEKs. All public and private schools will be reopened from August 1, 2021. New academic session 2021-22 will also start from August 1, 2021.
The provincial minister made the remarks while addressing a press conference. He expresses some other points which are given below.
(1) Casual Leave will be renamed E.Leave. All respected teachers will be able to take all kinds of leaves now online.
(2) Teachers’ documents scanning process is near to be completed. 3,78,000 teachers documents scanning has been completed Out of 3,88,000/
(3)ACR/PER Will be online at the end of this year. The teacher will fill online form and the competent authority will sign on it on the basis of the annual performance of the teacher.
(4)Private teachers will be hired on contract and the local applicants will be preferred. It will also help to resolve the transfer issues. School Education Department Punjab has prepared a summary to hire new teachers for public schools.
(5) Recruitment of teachers in SIX districts(Gujranwala, Sialkot, DG Khan, Mianwali, Rajanpur, RY Khan) of Punjab will start from August 1, 2021. SED Punjab is trying its best not to give any extra work to teachers other than teaching.
(6)Retired teachers‘ papers will be made online within a week and pension will start automatically.
(7) With the online retirement notification teachers will now get leave encashment notification, GP fund notification & Pension notification and money will transfer directly to the account.
