AIOU Has Announced Spring Semester Admission 2022
Allama Iqbal Open Univesity has announced admission Spring Semester 2022 in MA/MSc(2 years program), BS(4 years) program, Associate degree(2 years) program, BBA(4 years) program and Teacher Training Programs. The Fresh candidates can submit the admission form till 9th May 2022(revised date) with a late fee(Rs.1000) whereas continue students can send the admission form with late fee till 16th May 2022. The detail about all programs offered in Spring Semester 2022 is given below.
(1)MA Programs(2 Years) Urdu, M.Com, Teaching Of English As Foreign Language (TEFL), Arabic, History, Islamic Studies(General), Islamic Studies(With Specialization) and Master in Library & Information Sciences (MLIS).
(2)MSc Programs(2 Years) Economics, Mass Communication, Pakistan Studies, Forestry Extension, Public Nutrition, Gender & Women Studies, Sociology, Administrative Sciences and Sustainable Environmental Design.
NOTE: Higher Education Department had already granted one-time waiver to the BA/BSc degree holders enrolled in the academic year 2019 through a notification issued on 1st November 2021. The students having 14 years of education (BA/BSc/Associate Degree or Equivalent) can take admission in MA/MSc till 30th June 2022. So we can say that it is the last chance for all graduate students who are willing to take admission in MA/MSc(2 Years) program.
(3)Teacher Training Programs(2 Years) MA Distance & Non-Formal Education, MA Teacher Education, MA Special Education, MA Educational Planning & Management(EPM), M.Ed(1 Years Program) as per new roadmap of HEC with the following specialization.
- Elementary Teacher Education.
- Teacher Education.
- Distance & Non-Formal Education.
- Science Education, Special Education.
B.Ed(1.5 Years): The candidates can take admission in B.Ed(1.5 Years) program if they have 16 Years of Education (Academic Disciplines Other than Education) MA/MSc/BA (4-year)/ BS(4 years) with minimum second division or equivalent

(5)BBA Programs (4 Years) Bachelor of Business Administration.
(6)BA(Renamed As Associate Degree) BA/Associate Degree In Arts(2 Years Programs), B.Com Associate Degree In Commerce(2 Years Programs) and Associate Degree in business administration with a specialization in Islamic Banking, HRM and Marketing.
(7)Postgraduate Diplomas(1 Year) Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, HRM(Human Resource And Management), Education Leadership and Management, Criminology, EPM, TEFL, Early Childhood Education, Computer Science and Papulation and Development.
How To Submit AIOU Spring Semester Admission 2022
- Prospectuses and admission forms of all the programs are available at University Website. Download Prospectus
- Only fresh students are required to apply ONLINE https://online.aiou.edu.pk latest by 9th May 2022 with a late fee(Rs.1000)(revised date).
- Continue Students Can Send Admission Form With Late Fee(Rs 1000) Till 16th May 2022.
- Click on create an account. Create an account with your Email or Phone no.
- AIOU will send you a verification code on your Email and Phone No as well.
- Activate your account.
- Go to the tab “Action” Click on “Open”
- Fill the entire application form with relevant information.
- Fee should be deposited in any branch of ABL-CMD-AIOU-Fee Collection Account 0010000336340801. MCB-TM 0096 A/C 0586704541007031, FWBL 0036010745610001, UBL-MCA No. 262489296.
