School Timing In Ramadan 2023 For All Schools

The Government of Punjab, Service and General Administration Department issued notification No.SOW-l(S&GAD) MISC/5-4/2005 on 21st March 2023 regarding new office timings during the holy month of Ramazan. As you know that the holy month of Ramazan 1444 AH is expected to be started on 23rd March 2023 in Pakistan and all public and private institutions observe new timing in this month.

According to the notification, All Punjab government-related institutions which work 5 days a week will be open from 7.30 A.M to 1.30 P.M (Monday to Thursday) and on Fridays from 7.30 am to 12.00 P.M while government institutions work 6 days a week will be open from 7.30 am to 12.30 P.M (Monday to Thursday & Saturday) and on Friday from 7.30 am to 12.00 P.M. This new office’s timing seems pretty good. All the Muslim government employees easily go to their office after taking Sehri, Talawat-e-Quran and other religious Wazaif. After finishing their duties in the office, they can easily move to homes and say the Zuhar prayer. After the Zuhar prayer, they have enough time to take some rest. This rest will help them to worship late at night. May Allah accept all our prayers in the upcoming holy month of Ramazan and give us the strength to reap the blessings of this month as much as possible.

School Education Department Punjab usually changes the school timings on April 16 every year due to the arrival of summer. As all government and private institutions change their timings during Ramadan, SED will also observe new timing from the 1st Ramazan Ul Mubarik in all public and private schools like other institutions. The school education department Punjab has issued a separate notification today (22 March 2023),

پنجاب حکومت نے صوبے میں رمضان المبارک کے دروان سرکاری دفاتر کے اوقات کار جاری کر دیے ہیں

نوٹیفیکیشن کے مطابق تمام سرکاری دفاتر جو ہفتے میں پانچ دن کام کرتے ہیں وہ صبح 30۔7 تا دوپہر 30۔1 بجے تک کھولیں رہیں گے اور جمعہ کے روز 30۔7 تا 00۔12 بجے تک ورک کریں گے۔

وہ تمام سرکاری دفاتر جو ہفتے میں چھ دن کام کرتے ہیں وہ سوموار تا جمعرات اور ہفتہ صبح 30۔7 تا دوپہر 30۔12 بجے تک اور جمعہ کے روز 30۔7 تا 00۔12 بجے تک کھولیں رہیں گے۔

سکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ پنجاب معمول کے مطابق ہر سال موسم گرما کی آمد کی وجہ سے 16 اپریل کو سکولوں کے اوقات کار تبدیل کر دیتا ہے ۔

لیکن رمضان المبارک کی آمد کی وجہ سے سکولوں کے اوقات کار معمول سے پہلے بھی تبدیل ہو جاتے ہیں۔اس حوالے سے سکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے الگ سے آج مورخہ 22 مارچ 2023 کو نوٹیفیکشن جاری کر دیا ہے جس کی تفصیل مندرجہ ذیل ہے ۔
