PMIU-PESRP performs an annual school census using the school information system (SIS) on school tablets on 31st October every year. All public schools in Punjab “log in”to the SIS application and provide updated data. All district education officers/officials visit the schools to ensure the activity is completed successfully. It is the personal responsibility of the Head Teachers to submit accurate and comprehensive data electronically. It is therefore, decided that “School Census Days” will be observed in districts as per the schedule mentioned below:
سکول ایجوکیشن دیپارٹمنٹ پنجاب ہر سال 31 اکتوبر کو سکول ٹیبلٹ پر سیس ایپ کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے اسکول کی سالانہ مردم شماری جس میں سٹاف اور بچوں کی تعداد، این ایس بی کا استعمال، سکول کا ڈیٹا وغیرہ کی مکمل تفصیلات فراہم کرنا ہوتی ہے۔ اس سال بھی پنجاب کے تمام سرکاری اسکول سیس ایپلیکیشن میں “لاگ ان” کرتے ہوئے تازہ ترین ڈیٹا فراہم کریں۔ تمام ڈسٹرکٹ ایجوکیشن آفیسرز/ اہلکار اس بات کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے سکولوں کا دورہ کریں گے تاکہ یہ ٹاسک کامیابی سے مکمل ہو جائے۔ یہ ہیڈ ٹیچرز کی ذاتی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ درست اور جامع ڈیٹا جمع کرئین۔ لہذا، یہ فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے درج ذیل شیڈول کے مطابق اضلاع میں “اسکول مردم شماری کے دن” منائے جائیں گے:

All public schools of concerned districts will be required to submit and verify the updated data as per scheduled dates. District Education Officials will visit the schools personally and ensure successful completion of the activity.
For submission of census data, all school heads must:
- Ensure all SIS input fields (Students, Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff, and School Facilities etc.)
- Submit the form by clicking on the “Submit Census Form” button in SIS App (School Census Section).
- School heads will sign/stamp the printed form of their respective school for onward submission to the relevant AEO/DMO Office.
Note: If AEOs have verified that the primary and middle schools are eligible, printable census forms will be accessible on the AEO app. After DMO Office verification, printed census forms for high and higher secondary schools will be accessible on the DMO Dashboard.
In the case of Primary & Middle Schools, the submitted census forms will be visible for verification to AEOS on the AEO app. AEOs will validate the data electronically as per scheduled dates and submit it with their sign/stamp to DMO Office by 24th February 2023.
The completed census forms for High & Higher Secondary Schools will be available on DMO Dashboard. According to the stated dates, DMOS will electronically validate the data. After being verified by the appropriate DEO Secondary, High & Higher Secondary Schools shall deliver the printed census forms to DMO Offices by February 24, 2023. Please make sure that pertinent Officials and School Heads receive instructions on time.
