All Punjab Boards Have Postponed Chemistry and Islamiyat Papers
Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has issued a notification no.635-SY/PBCC/LHR dated:10-05-2023 in connection with ‘Postponement of Papers’ after the online consultation with the controller of all Punjab Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Bahawalpur/D.G. Khan/Faisalabad/Gujranwala/Lahore Multan/Rawalpindi/Sahiwal and Sargodha۔
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala also issued the below press release regarding the postponement of the ongoing 9th 1st annual exams 2023 due to the prevailing law and order situation in the country.
All concerned (institutions/students/teachers/supervisory staff/distributing inspector/bank staff and others) have been notified regarding Class 9th (First Annual) 2023 organized by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala. It is stated that the papers of both groups held on 11th May and 12th May 2023 (Chemistry” and “Islamiyat)have been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The new date will be announced later.
As per notification issued by all Punjab Boards Committee Of Chairmen, it was decided after the online consultation with all Punjab Controllers that the papers of “Chemistry/General Science” and “Islamiyat” to be held on 11 May, 12 May 2023 respectively, have been postponed.
The new date will be announced in due course of time. This information should be circulated publicly for information about the candidates, their parents, institutes and supervisory staff.
Remember! these two papers have already been changed as per revised matric date sheet 2023 due to the election 2023 scheduled on 30 April 2023. Now again postponed due to the pervailing law and order situation in the Punjab province.

بورڈ آف انٹرمیڈیٹ اینڈ سیکنڈری ایجوکیشن گوجرنوالہ کے زیر اہتمام کلاس نہم (فرسٹ اینول) کے حوالے سے تمام متعلقین (ادارہ جات/طلباء و طالبات/اساتذہ اکرام/سپر وائزری سٹاف/ڈسٹری بیوٹنگ انسپکٹر/بینک عملہ و دیگر)کو مطلع کیا جاتا ہے کہ مورخہ ١١ مئی اور ١٢ مئی کو منعقد ہونے والے دونوں گروپس کے پرچہ جات ناگزیر وجوہات کی بنا پر منسوخ کر دیئے گئے ہیں۔نئی تاریخ کا اعلان بعد میں کیا جائے گا۔
