The School Education Department Punjab has issued a notification NO.SO(A-1)1-31/2022 dated on 10th May 2023. As per notification, SED Punjab has decided to close all Public and Private schools on 11th-12th May,2023 (Thursday and Friday)respectively owing to current security situation in the province. However, all offices will remain open and perform their functions as usual.
On the other hand, The Punjab Government’s Department of Higher Education has also released Notification No. SO(G) MISC-1/2023, dated May 10, 2023. The Competent Authority hereby directs that all Public Sector Colleges/ Universities (Except Medical Colleges/ Universities) and all other Educational Institutions under the administrative control of Higher Education Department Punjab. shall remain closed on May 11–12, 2023 (Thursday and Friday), in accordance with this department’s notification of even No dated 09th May 2023 and in light of the current security situation throughout Punjab.
Furthermore, papers of Secondary School First Annual Examination 2023 (Part-I) to be held on 11th-12th May (Thursday and Friday) are hereby postponed till further orders.
