Directorate of Public Instruction (SE), Punjab, has issued a notification regarding the updation and verification of tentative SST seniority list 2025 (Male & Female), General Cadre, up to 31-12-2024. This notification is extremely important for all Secondary School Teachers (BS-16) working across Punjab, as it directly impacts promotions, service benefits, and future postings.

Who Is Included in SST Seniority List 2025?

The SST Seniority List 2025 Punjab includes only:

Regular Secondary School Teachers (SSTs BS-16)
Male & Female, General Cadre
SSTs working as:
- Secondary School Teachers
- Head Teachers / SSTs of Elementary Schools
- Regular Assistant Education Officers (General & Physical Education)

Important Clarification:
Only regular officers of the General Cadre are included. No contractual, Ex-MCL, Corporation, or SST/AEO Ex-MCL officers are part of this list.

OPS Headmasters & Headmistresses

The notification clearly states that:

All SSTs (Male & Female) who have been posted/adjusted as Headmasters or Headmistresses on Own Pay & Scale (OPS) have been properly included in the seniority list.

This removes confusion for SSTs working on OPS across Punjab.

Verification & Objection Submission Deadline

All CEOs (DEA) and District Education Officers (SE / M.EE / W.EE) have been directed to:

Examine the SST Seniority List 2025 thoroughly
Submit objections, observations, or corrections (if any)

Final Notification Date

If no objections are received within the given timeline:

Final SST Seniority List (Male & Female) will be officially notified on:

26 December 2025 (Friday)

Mandatory Certificate by DEOs

All District Education Officers (SE) are required to submit a duly signed certificate within THREE (03) days, confirming that:

All entries in the seniority list are correct and complete
No eligible SST (Male or Female) up to 31-12-2024 has been omitted
No ineligible category officer has been included

Failure to comply will be treated as serious negligence, and the concerned officer will be held personally responsible.

Important Note for Missing Names

If the name of any eligible SST is missing from the list:

It may be included along with a specific certificate
The certificate must confirm that no eligible SST up to 31-12-2024 has been omitted
