A notification regarding Farogh-e-Taleem Fund (FTF) is widely circulating on social media such as Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Before clarifying this notification, read the following lines, which have been taken from the notification.
“In continuation of a letter dated 6th May 2011, keeping in view the current inflation status, the School Education Department has approved Rs. 100/- P.M. per student from all classes in English Medium schools in order to improve the quality of education by meeting with the requirement of the teaching-learning process. The Competent Authority has approved that Heads of institutions will be authorized to collect the above-mentioned funds and exempt 10% of the enrollment of the respective classes from payment of Farogh-e-taleem fund on the basis of poverty/low-income parents.
The instructions mentioned above may be brought into the notice of all concerned immediately. This decision will be operative w.e.f. The Academic year 01.04.2023“.

What is Farogh-e-Taleem Fund?
The Farogh-e-Taleem Fund or FTF is a monthly fee of Rs. 20 collected from public school students from grades 1 to grade 10 and put in the FTF account before being used to meet the requirements of the students. The FTF supports primary and higher education students and covers tuition fees, books, uniforms, and other related expenses.
Is notification real or fake?
This notification is fake and fabricated. School Education Department has not issued any notification on any platform. TMS requests all the honorable teachers who received this notification from any source, plz don’t share this with others.
