Government College University Lahore has introduced its first-ever GCU Summer Internship Program 2026 (GCU-SIP) to provide undergraduate students with meaningful practical exposure. The internship is open to students studying at GCU as well as all HEC-recognized universities and colleges across Pakistan.

The internship focuses on developing future professionals by allowing them to work in real administrative and academic departments of the university. Participants will gain valuable workplace experience, improve their professional skills, and understand university governance and research practices.

Besides practical learning, the internship also fulfills the compulsory BS internship requirement according to the HEC Undergraduate Policy 2023, making it highly beneficial for eligible students.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

Applicants must have successfully completed the BS 4th Semester or an equivalent two years of undergraduate studies.
Students from GCU Lahore and all HEC-recognized universities and colleges are eligible.
Candidates should possess a good academic record.
Students awaiting results may also apply.
Selection and placement will be made according to the availability of internship slots.
No honorarium or stipend will be paid during the internship.
GCU will not charge any application fee.
An official internship certificate will only be awarded after successful completion of the internship and submission of a satisfactory evaluation report by the supervisor.
