PU New Fee Structure 2025 – A Comprehensive Overview

The University of the Punjab, Lahore, has officially released its revised PU New Fee Structure 2025 for the year 2025, effective for examination schedules announced after 15th July 2025. The updated fee structure was approved by the university syndicate on 3rd July 2025, and it covers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and professional programs. This move aims to align the university’s financial policies with the increasing academic and administrative demands.

Key Changes in the PU New Fee Structure 2025

The new fee structure outlines examination fees for various programs. Below are some notable updates:

Undergraduate Programs

Postgraduate Programs

  • M.A. (Part I & II): Rs. 13,040

  • M.Sc., M.Com, M.Ed: Rs. 15,000

  • LL.B. (Part I & II): Rs. 13,640

  • LL.M.: Rs. 21,045

  • M.B.B.S / Pharm-D: Rs. 23,780

Medical & Professional Programs

  • M.D., M.D.S., M.S. (Part I): Rs. 21,940

  • M.D., M.D.S., M.S. (Part II): Rs. 65,340

  • M.Phil (Dentistry): Rs. 31,400

  • Diploma in Medical: Rs. 29,490

Ph.D. and Special Fees

  • Ph.D. Registration Fee: Rs. 17,110

  • Exam Result (before time): Rs. 59,740

  • Degree Issuance Fee (all types): Rs. 6,000

  • Rechecking Fee: Rs. 2,640

  • Migration / NOC Fee: Rs. 3,900

Other Administrative Charges

Punjab University has also updated various administrative charges including:

  • Correction before declaration of result: Rs. 960

  • Correction after 10 years: Rs. 9,600

  • Appeal against decision & certificate: Rs. 4,320

  • Change of Practical Exam Date / Subject: Rs. 2,940

  • Verification / Syllabus Attestation: Rs. 2,520

Enrollment Fees

  • Private Affiliated Colleges: Rs. 1,200 per year per student

  • Government Affiliated Colleges: Rs. 600 per year per student
