Punjab Education Commission(PEC) has issued the schedule of School Based Assessment SBA 2022 from grade 1 to grade 8 for all public schools in the province. The district education authorities (DEAs) will conduct SBA from grades 1 to 8. The date sheet for this internal exams will be issued by the Head Teacher of the school as per the following schedule.

Standard Operating Procedures For SBA Schedule 2022
(1)Mode of assessment and other Standard Operation Procedures have already been shared vide this office letter No. Assessment/Ad/SBA/2-2021 dated 10/11/2021 and No. Assessment/Ad/SBA/2-2021/255 dated 08/01/2022. Click for detail of Mode of Assessment For SBA 2022. In addition to this, the following main points will be considered:
- Assessment of the Teaching of Holy Quran of 50 marks (Nazra Quran for grade 1-5 and Translation of Holy Quran for Grades 6-8) will be held as a separate compulsory subject for Muslim students.
- The date sheet for SBA will be issued by the Head Teacher of the school as per above mentioned schedule.
(2)Every school will generate papers through login into Item Bank System (IBS) with QR code showing complete information of the school with EMIS code(which can be scanned through any QR Code scanning App).
(3)The DEA’s are requested to take necessary measures to ensure that schools have utilized IBS by using their own login to promote quality of education and enhance the capacity of teachers.
