Reopening Of Schools From 15 September In The Country

Reopening Of Schools: Inter-provincial education conference is held online today 5th August 2020 to decide for reopening schools and colleges in the country. The conference was chaired by Federal Minister for Education, Mr. Shafqat Mahmood.All provincial ministers for education also participated in the meeting. All ministers for education decided to reopen schools and colleges in the country from September 15 2020.

The main purpose of holding this conference was to consult with all the provinces on important issues related to education in the current situation COVID-19.It was decided that if the situation improves, schools will be opened across the country from September 15, 2020. The conference considered all the issues related to the opening of educational institutions.

It is also important to mention here that the School Education Department Punjab has completed work on SOPs for opening schools. As per SOPs morning assembly will not be held in schools. Only 3 subjects Mathematics, English, Science will be taught in the class. The homework for other subjects will be given only and there will be no class for these subjects. 20 children will sit in one class etc.

Punjab Minister for School Education, Dr. Murad Raas said in his latest tweet which he shared on his twitter account a few minutes ago that All Public & Private Schools of Punjab to open September 15th, 2020. This is a tentative date depending on COVID 19 situation in Punjab. SOPs for opening Schools are in place which will be conveyed to everyone. All other news is “FAKE NEWS”

On the other hand the All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association (APPSCA) announced on Monday reopening educational institutes from August 15 across the country, rejecting federal government’s earlier decision to reopen them in September,
