Training of enumerators for 7th digital census 2023

In the previous post about the 7th Digital Census 2022, I shared the timeline, training of trainers(ToT) at the division level and remuneration of field staff in detail. Now the training of enumerators for 7th digital census 2023 has been shared by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS)

From December 19 to December 23, 2022, the training of Trainers (TOTS) at the Divisional level was successfully completed throughout all of Pakistan’s provinces and regions. Now training sessions of enumerators (TOES) will start from 7th January 2023 onwards in all Pakistani provinces and regions in 3 batches.

The list of the Trainers who have been selected on the basis of Evaluation during the Training of Trainers (TOTS) is shared with all competent authorities. It is requested to the Trainers report at the training venue at 8:30 AM for the conduct of the said training as per the given schedule with great devotion and dedication for the national cause.

Timings of the training session will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM daily. The training of Enumerators for the 7th digital census 2023 will be imparted in a maximum of three batches and the duration of each batch is given below:

Trainers will collect USB (Training Material) and other necessary documents on 5th January 2023 from the concerned Census District

Training of enumerators for the 7th digital census 2023, the following SOPs must be followed:

  1. All of the trainers will observe the rules of punctuality, consistency, and discipline in letter and spirit.
  2. The TOES event will proceed according to the schedule provided.
  3. The Enumerators will receive extensive training to enable them to produce high-quality data.
  4. To assess the participants’ prior and current knowledge, pre-and post-tests were administered.
  5. Daily evaluation forms completed by the students
  6. On the final day of practice during the first half, conduct a field mock exercise.
  7. Following the completion of the Mock Exercise, the trainees filled out feedback forms for the Listing/Enumeration App.
  8. Training locations will be virtually supervised by PBS Headquarters. With the member’s approval, this matter (Support Services).

  1. All the Office In-charges, PBS Regional Offices, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Multan, Sahiwal, D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur (with the directions to convey this letter and ensure telephonic confirmation from the selected trainers of their region including field offices)
  2. Deputy Commissioner District Lahore, Kasur, Shekhupura, Nankana sab, Okara, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Mandi Bahawaldin, Hafizabad, Rawalpindi, Jehlum, Attock, Chakwal, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Multan, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Vehari, Lodhran, Pak Pattan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Chiniot, Kot Addu, Wazirabad, Taunsa Sharif, Talagang, Murree. 3. All the Assistant Commissioners/ Cantt. Executive Officers/Census District Officers of Punjab (List attached)/(P.T.O)
  3. All the Trainers deployed in Punjab
